Nathan Bennett started playing at the Cobras in 2005 after coming through the club’s Auskick program. Many times during his first season Nathan would take his jumper off at half time, head for the play ground and not return until the lollipops were being handed out after the game. In his second season Nathan enjoyed playing footy with his friends and he really made an effort to improve his skills, so much so that he was rewarded with the “most Improved” award at the end of the season. This year Nathan has continued to enjoy his footy and he regularly plays two games each week as well as running water and training with the under 11’s. During this season Nathan has also played a half time Auskick game at the Gabba and also at Carrara during the Kangaroo V Adelaide game. Nathan is a Brisbane Lions supporter whose favourite player is Michael Rischitelli and he would like to play in the AFL for West Coast, Brisbane or the Kangaroos.
